Welcome to our community.Nice for you to join us.

Like many of us here, we are all on our own journey.We are a friendly bunch and as some of the members have already said, feel free to make your own topics on various subjects if you would like to. There is a mediumship and psychic disscussion section if you're interested in posting a little about your own development and expierences. I am a spiritual medium also and used to attend the spiritual church. Used to do many one to one readings. But since having the little one (now 6 months old) and starting a new age shop, I have had to put that on a back burner for now. Think spirit think i have abandoned them. but sure they can see i'm busy. I love working for spirit although it can be draining sometimes can't it.

I take it you are doing mediumship development then?

anyway, hope you enjoy being part of our forum. Look forward to hearing what you have to say.

Don't know if any of the other members have mentioned it but theres loads of free gifts on here that you maybe interested in. Most of them you need to go to the web shop for and click on free gifts there.I had my numerology reading done and it was really good, i really enjoyed it. still reading over that now!

Thank you for the warm welcome i'm looking forward to reading all the posts.i have been developing for three years and give messages as i get them.mostly for family and friends at present.i am in a closed circle that meets once a month and a couple of other circles that are weekly.i love doing photo rading across the web as it gives me a chance to stretch my skills.i am about 80% accurate! i have done readings for my work mates and love to go on over night ghost hunts, i have had lots of experience on them and its great! I feel i will develope trance next but need some help as i dont feel its appropriate to try alone.i'm not interested in platform work i just want to help people who are lost on their path.

You actually reminded me of myself then. when i used to go to church, i kept getting asked to do do platform work by the chairlady who was also a medium. Me and a group of others (fledglings) used to go on platfrom now and again at church and some other churches too. I was terrified lol as i kept saying that i didnt want to do platform work,just one to one readings, wanted to help people, not entertain people! although i'm not saying all platform mediums just do it for entertainment. I think if you can get the right balance of humor and sensitive then it's good as it can really lift the spirits (pardon the pun) but although the opportunity was there for me to do platform work, i always riddled out of it! was too shy for that sort of thing. I much prefared to just keep it one on one. So eventually i started to do email readings and a few face to face for friends. The email readings i did on ebay and just progressed from there. Until i felt drained, so stopped doing it!

I have also done some trance work in the past when in a closed circle with the chair lady and a few others in her home. It really freaked me out the first time i saw it happen and thought i was imagining it, but i did see people being overshadowed by spirit and then heard the voices change. (enough to know it wasn't a put on) i have also gone into light trance before but i was still conscious of what was going on around me and i could feel my body being taken over, a very strange feeling. My feet felt like they were stretching, my hands felt bigger, it was a very strange feeling! and another time i was an old lady from castleford and i could feel what she felt when she passed over, kept feeling a thud in my chest as my necklace kept lifting and banging on my chest! my fingers started to curl up and i had this wicked laugh...lol and many more experiences, some of them felt brilliant and i really liked it, that much so i wanted to do trance work properly. But i was too scared and held myself back as there were a few bad experiences too were spirit wouldnt leave me alone and wouldn't leave me, it took 3 mediums and 2 healers to get rid of him. (he was an angry soul, that wanted to take me to spirit with him) very scary.

I wouldn't recommend doing trance on your own. you always need someone there with you, to develop properly and always have food and water too hand, to bring you back round. You need to find someone that you trust and have been at it for a while. Always take protection you need to sit for a while in a closed circle, not an open circle and take your time. Meditate,protect yourself at all times and open and close yourself down properly, as that was something i could never do properly, so i let alsorts in, took people home with me and was completely drained as i sense spirit alot.

I am sure you know this all already, just thought it may help talking of experiences.

Thank you claire, i love watching trance,its sooooo interesting i have times when i have felt spirit trying to step in but managaed to stop them. there is a gentleman who has done trance for years and feel drawn to him,he's very good trance medium and feel he will help me.

That sounds like a sensible thing to do by going to somebody with plenty of expierence. It's certainly fascinating. You just have to be very firm with spirit, like it sounds like you've been and that's essential in this sort of thing or else you will let alsorts through, desperate to get through to their loved ones and people on the earth plane. They all tend to home into a wide open channel don't they.
