What's your claim to fame?

What's your claim to fame? Have you ever appeared in a magazine,on the television or in a local or national newspaper. (and no, I'm not talking about speeding tickets!) or have you ever had a book published or article that sort of thing.


I appeared in a copy of 'it's Fate' magazine and had my aura read, you couldn't actually see a picture of me cause of the all the colour wasn't a bad reading actually. Think that was some time last year.

When I was much younger, I appeared in all the local newspapers as part of my winning town swimming team. I also was in the paper for the school netball team too ! gawd that's going back some

I once had some poetry published in a book when i was younger. i felt so proud to see my name in a book and the poetry that i had written.

I was in a play at school, all my family came to see me perform. The local newspaper was there too. looking back on it, i know i felt very proud at the time

thats really sweet WW, i was always a shy child so i would never volunteer at school for anything.

My claim to fame is not as good as that but i always remember it as being special to me.
i won a massive Raffle when i was 6 or 7 years old at school. it was a massive basket of fruit, and i got my name in the local paper as the winner of the raffle.

Strange thing was, i never remember buying this raffle ticket, so that as always remained a mystery to me.

That sounds quite spooky spirit searcher. You were obviously meant to have a basket of fruit

These things can be quite strange when they happen and still years later you still dont have a clue why or how.

the thing i feel most proud of, was again when i was at school. You have to understand i was a very nervous shy child that hardly spoke, and didnt make freinds easily. one day we had english, which i liked and we were allowed to watch a school programme called picture box. when we had watched it, we had to write a story about what we had seen. to cut a long story short, i was given a Gold star for my story and was top of the class that day. I still remember it now, and how special i felt.

awww thats lovely neptune,and so you should feel proud! I bet you did at the time too.

so true. but i guess its up to us to do something everyday that makes us feel special
