Tips and Tricks

I have just been replying to Sarah in news and announcements regarding the problem wev'e been experiencing with the forum today. Just want to say the problems been fixed now.

Anyway, i was giving Sarah a tip due to her nearly having lost her post when the forum went down today and it got me thinking that it would be a good idea to make a new topic in general chat for people to be able to share any tips or tricks they might have, with things in general, doesnt have to be related to the forum in anyway,just in life in general that you think maybe useful to others. I'm not asking for you all to give your secrets away lol just helpful tips and tricks to share with one another.

The tip i have just given Sarah in the other post is too write her posts (particulary if lengthy) in a microsoft word document or notepad first before copying and pasting it into her post. That way,if anything at all happens with the forum (which it shouldnt!) now, then you haven't lost the last half hour of whatever it was you were posting. (or is it just me that takes that long to post!!)

good advice that i always do word if i know im going to post a long thread. Saves time later.

I like these new colour codes you have on for members with different post ratings. Thats a really good idea. ( I want to be blue now) I'd best get posting a bit more then, hadnt i. I just get lazy i guess, so this is just the incentive i need...

Well it looks like you and faeries are in a race and if faeries speed typing is anything to go by as ive read in another thread today,then looks like she may just pip you to the post!!

This could be true I suppose as I think you go back to work this week? Still you don't give yourself enough credit! Now I'm wondering who I am going to chat with as you will have to go to bed for work...or do I usually see you on when you get up? This time difference confuses me

yes back to work tomoz, but im always around, well just before i go to bed, and of course im using the forum in a morning to keep my hands busy to keep me away from the fags..

I think Neptune must have forgot thats it's the bank holiday this monday, so he wont be working afterall, unless he works on bank holiday, but i doubt it.

yes,there's nothing better than thinking your at work the next day only to find that you're not! although very annoying when you have actually turned up at work,to find that you could have had that lie in afterall!!

Oh well hopefully he will catch this post in time then and we can save him the trouble! although saying that some people do still work bank holidays, so he may be at work tomorrow anyway.

Oh i meant to say, i told you it was bank holiday last weekend because we loose track of our days sometimes and thought it was last weekend,when it isnt

Yes ive just realised, well it was the Tv that reminded me with the adverts for bank holiday sales. so thats good then, you can have me for one more night
