The New Forum look

Ok.... as you can see ive had a revamp of the forum...

So what do you lot think? do you like it or did you prefer the old spirit Charms look.

I wanted the forum to be the same as my Spirit charms website, as most of you know ive just had a revamp of that too...

Yes i like this new look. it's very smart indeed

I personally didn't think there was anything wrong with the old forum although this is a lovely looking forum and uniforms with Spirit Charms website, so you can see they belong together good idea.

I love it! it's a lovely vibrant colour which gives it a lovely warm feel. Not that it wasnt a warm forum before,im meaning the colour not the actual forum. Although i liked your old logo the green with the trees, it looked very Wiccan to me, but much prefer the red. It suits your website.

I love this colour, for those who want to know it's #cc3333. Ive noticed too that since the colour got changed, people are posting a lot more too. True what they say that colour effects your mood, and red is one that gets you all into action....

I think the forum layout is quite nice and very easy.

I'm a member of another forum and find the threads really hard to read because the colour is a bit like

Yes i have to admit, the pinkish colour is realy good on the eyes,as i notice the difference when i visit websites that have stark white backgrounds hurts my eyes to be honest. But when i come on here,my eyes calm down and im not squinting anymore. You know i didnt realise just how much there was to all this sort of thing, design and themes etc...there's more in it than you think and i think Claire and Wingman have done a great job with it.

I agree with you spiritsearcher I wasn't here before the new design but I like it the way it is now. It's a great colour choice.

Thanks for your nice comments ladies. Im glad you all like it. It was green before and looked more Wiccan and although i liked the logo,as it was one wingman had painted from his woods painting with the trees on,i much prefer this colour,not particular a fan of green anyway, find it too cold. although i do like greenery as in nature. But it just didnt feel right. I much prefer the way it is now. Thanks to Wingman!

and it's changed again since then too......... Looks awesome now i think, almost to vbulletin board standards (which is a hundred quid a year pro forum for those that dont know) this is a lot easier to get around though. I hate those VB Forum boards

Thanks for the compliment Neptune.well thanks goes to Wingman, i can't take the credit for it. You're right though those Vbulletin boards are about £100 and i think this forum works and looks much better. I suppose it all depends on how you design them,as some peole just can't be bothered on how their forum looks to others.

tell me about it. ive been on a few forums that were so hard to read, and ive thought cant the admin see its hard to read or something. I just guess that some people havent got the skill to change it, or the design skill to know what looks ok. Which can spoil the whole experience of being on a forum.

yes well it can completely ruin your time on a forum if its hard to navigate and even the colour is all wrong. The way things look can have an effect on how you see things and feel about the place. I do hope that all of you like it here and feel comfortable here.

Well i for one like it here, but i did before it changed too...

Beauty is only skin deep as they say, the content and the people on the forum matter too.

Very true Neptune. It wouldn't matter how pretty and fancy the forum was if everybody was rude. We are a good lot here and that's what keeps us all coming back

depends on which rude you are refering to your right though,a good forum is only a good forum if it has great members and we certainly have that here.this place wouldnt be any good and its all thanks to you guys!

Im sure he has, wingman is also responsible for keeping me sidetracked today with this new arcade section he's put on.... i keep getting lost in the black jack game,and the bingo, then i have to test the roulette wheel, and packman.........

You know, i got that involved in catching up on posts (still haven't finished yet!) that i never ven noticed that great big button at the top of the forum that says ARCADE in capital letters!

I really love games, so thanks Wingman, thats me off to have a play around!!!

p.s. Just what will be next on this forum,I think we have everything covered, can't be much more to add now,surely! Wingman seems to think of everything,which is so kind of both you and Claire. Always feel like we are being treated all the time.

yes it's great HG ive been in it playing the poker game (the first game on the page) and its great, ive won a few hands but havent a clue what im doing.. good fun all the same
