HOW DO I DO THAT THEN EH?

I thought i would just do this topic to help new members with things they want to do on the board. course if i dont mention what you want to know then you can ask, and i will cover it.


1 PUTTING A PIC (AVATAR) on your profile...

First you will need to find yourself a small picture of some kind. 100x100 pixels in the usual size and no larger than 15kb although if its slightly larger you can try it and see if your profile will accept it... once you have your pic, then go to the top menu and click on your profile. you will see all your info to do with your membership. click on the one that says Avatar in this case. once your on that page you will see a button that says browse. this will connect you to your pc, browse to the pic you want and upload it. if you havent got your own pic, then you can choose one from the inbuilt gallery. click on the button that says SHOW GALLERY to see them. upload, and your profile will be updated.

2 ADD A SIGNATURE..

This is slightly different from your Avatar, this come's at the end of your post (dont forget to tick the tab when you make a post that says "Attach your Signature" or it wont show. First you will need to get yourself a nice picture, this needs to be cropped to around 400x 125, or there abouts. Once you have your signature then you need to upload it to a file host. We have one built it to this board so you can use that if you like. you can see it in the quick reply just below this post (host a picture) click on the "host a pic" tab at the top of the text box. once you have uploaded your pic to the host it will give you a code..Place that in the signature box and save it, your signature will show up in your post. of course you can just write something in the siggy box and that show in your post too. the choice is yours

Thanks for that wingman. Can i just add that ive now taken the quick reply message box off so you will have to do this from the normal reply post message box. (sorry about that but the quick reply box was messing with the settings) Also when you get the link from the file host, you have to copy and paste the middle link for it to work.
