Members opinions wanted

So, i though we would have a little survey here for the future of spiritcharms.

Well i dont know if any of you have had a look around my new place

If you have then you will see it has lots of different things, like music uploads, video uploads, a proper profile which you can customize with music and so on. also there is your own blogs for those who like blogging, and of course a forum to play in. plus of course a proper chat room with cams, plus a whiteboard (which can be used for. erm, im not sure) what do you use this whiteboard for oh and free classified ads, events and the abilty to make different groups for members to join,a wall (like on facebook) and so on.

So how would members feel about spiritcharms being moved to a site like this in the future. It would still operate as a free service.

oh im not sure angelass, you should get it straight away! try looking in your junk mail, they can sometimes go off into there! if not, i'll get wingman to activate you when he gets back in, which wont be too long now!

The email should come in no problem but sometimes it might go into your junk box. Because this is a site i host myself, you might not recognise the email as its a site one Admin@(sort of thing). Ive activated you anyway,so no problems there.Oh ive changed your profile for you as i dont think you are looking for males LOL.... (or are ya ) thats me getting done for flirting

No you silly bugger, it will be a totally new site called spiritcharms, in fact it will be an upgraded version of the "EXAMPLE" of what the site would be like, that i am showing you as adult connect. Which is just a friendship site, and a test site that ive been praticing my coding for the design and making sure my hosting works as it should before i do something proper with it, and what have you, although you are right, i should have thought of the name a bit better, not realising that some People see adult connect as something else, not connecting friendships as i intended, but connecting.. erm Elsewere... Nope the new Spiritcharms will have the same content (waffling cobblers as it were) that it does now, just more space to move about in.... not to mention security is a lot tighter on those places....

In fact to clear up any confusion, this is the actual site model i will be using when it has been finished, its only in 7alpha stage at the moment and will be a few weeks to a few months before they are ready for release of this new version for download, so then i'll put it onto my own server and mould it to what spiritcharms wants (claire).

yes there is alot more ability to do things on there and will be more besides once the new version comes out. Im wanting to stick to this red colour though, as i like the feel of it. Im sure wingman will do a good job and to my liking

A lot of movement and change is happening on the net at the moment, this is a trend that seems to be inevitable so I am happy to go along with whatever you decide.

I'm all for it! It will take me time to get used to it but then again I even had a hard time getting around here in the beginning! So how long till you think this will happen?

Well the move to the dolphin, could take months, its not even finished the testing phase yet....

As you will know by now though, im having to move us to one of my own forums as since the updates, this forum as slowly become unstable, and will take time for me to fix. So we are on the move. The other forum is much better than this one, modelled on Vbulletin, for those who know. The move to the dolphin, as based on the connect one, wont happen for ages and ages yet, and im not even sure if it will happen at all. Depends on the usage, and how much people take part in the community to be worth the upgrade. This topic was just to see if people would be apposed to it, if or when it was to take place.

In the meantime though, we now have a brand new forum, one where everthing works, the emails, the PM's, and anything else i will put on, so hope you like it... www.spiritcharms.co.uk
